Who we are

CoolWeb is an Auckland-based web design agency. Our website is coolweb.design.

What information we collect

When you use our contact form we collect your name, email address, and optionally your phone number, website URL, and details about your business. This is so we can respond to your enquiry.

When you use our free website check tool we collect the URL you submit. This is used to run an automated analysis of your site.

We also collect standard analytics data including pages visited, time on site, and general location through Google Analytics. This data is anonymised and not linked to you personally.

How we use your information

We use your contact details to respond to your enquiry and follow up if needed. Your information is never sold to third parties.

Who we share your data with

Your enquiry data passes through these third party tools:

• Make.com automation platform that processes and routes your enquiry
• Google Sheets where enquiries are stored for our records
• BurstSMS sends an SMS notification when you contact us
• Hostinger our hosting provider, servers based in Europe

Google Analytics and Search Console

We use Google Analytics GA4 to understand how people use our site. No personally identifiable information is collected. We also use Google Search Console to monitor search performance.

How long we keep your data

Contact enquiries are kept in Google Sheets indefinitely unless you ask us to remove them. You can request deletion at any time by emailing [email protected].

Your rights

Under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of any personal information we hold about you. Email [email protected] to make a request.

We use cookies for Google Analytics only. No marketing or tracking cookies are used.
